Passport Is in sponsor's Custody Since 2 years in Kuwait
An Article which needs to be shared and I felt like this is the right to to bring it your notice, May be You have been Going through the same situation in Kuwait and i do not know what will be the consequences tomorrow will be.
First Of All Assalamu Alaikum and good day to all.
I am a Non - Arabic speaker working in this blessed country called Kuwait, and am blessed to be here since 2012,
After I got some experience and mastered in My career I transferred my residency under a new company and joined them in 2015 as a Site- Controller.
And this was and is my third employer in Kuwait.
First 2015 and 2016 was great and everything was going smoothly. Mid 2017 Things started to worsen like Started salary issues so i decided to quit and served 3 months notice period after resignation.
Now Fighting for my service money and release in court through a lawyer since March 2018.
paid to lawyer as well but everyday getting dates from court due to absence of my employer in every hearing date and time.
Residency already expired and to renew it now i am nagging and begging lawyers for my passport for more than 2 years.
Where is the Justice.? Where is Labor law. ?
Note : I have already been threatened by Employer to come to his house because i filed a case before he files an absconding against me.
Been twice in prison for absconding but lawyer saved me because my residency was valid at that time.
Please share this article it might help other to raise their voice against these kind of situation.
Surely the Labor affairs will help.
